Carnival Glass The Magic and The Mystery

A beautifully illustrated book on Carnival Glass with over 300 colour photographs (taken by Steve) and almost 200 black and white illustrations (drawn by Glen) providing a wealth of information for the reader. The book is divided into three main areas the first covering The Essentials of Class Carnival Glass with individual chapters providing an explanation of how Carnival was made. The second section cover Pattern Themes in Classic Carnival Glass and includes a chapter on recognition features for many geometric patterns. The last section Carnival Echoes Around the World describes Carnival glass from many countries including England, Australia, the Scandanavion countries and India to name a few. Many hundreds of patterns are covered in the book, 500 of which are explored in detail.

A great book - one you can go back to again an again - full of information and a joy to just pick up and browse through.
