Colored Glassware of the Depression Era (HMW1)
Weatherman, Hazel Marie
Weatherman, 1970. 239 pages. ISBN: 0913074004.
Retail: $25 to $35

Colored Glassware of the Depression Era (commonly known today as HMW1) is the predecessor to the acclaimed HMW2. An alphabetical listing of Depression Glass patterns from Adam to Windsor with the last 43 pages dedicated to "Occasional and Occasionally Found" items. A handful of the images are color, most are black & white.

While most of the information in the book is covered in more current Depression Glass books there are still jewels of information within the text that you won't find anywhere else, even in HMW2. The serious Depression Glass collector or dealer will find this book well worth having.
