Retail: $$12.95 This book is to help collectors of Dime Store Glass to recognize and identify glassware that was common to companies such as Woolworths, Ben Franklin, and Newberry's, among others. With the pictures it has the prices that the items originally sold for. It also has a great introduction to the Woolworth Company, along with photos.
I think one of the main reasons I bought the book was for the nostalgia, but it also lists the some of the most common glassware we still see today. It's a fun book as well as informative. Review by: Nancy (njg55) |
